Drawing the Coamings
Hi All, I have recently started a Buccaneer build and have questions about the coamings, in particular the upper coaming. When I was plotting it out on to the plywood, I noticed that the back of the coaming makes a 90 degree turn but I only have one point to plot in that area of the plywood. What is...

Re: Interesting SOT concept
Matt,

Re: Sabalo out for its first dive
Well I now have 3 Dives from the Kayak under my Belt, Matt the Sabalo is easy to paddle, very stable and handles all the scuba gear nicely. I can't believe I didn't do this years ago.

Snipa,
Nice looking Kayak, I am thinking of doing my next one SS&G for the deck, I was wondering the you know of any darker woods that could be used for contrast. A bit off topic I know, but thought I would try and pick your brains, I am still relatively new to Kayak building
thanks

Re: Sabalo out for its first dive
Pete, The problem was with the pole itself, I made it out of PVC pipe and set it up to fold like a flexible tent pole. I used push on connectors that would pop apart when the wind got hold of it. I think I have fixed it by swapping the push on connectors for screw types. I will test it again this we...

Sabalo out for its first dive
Hi, Just thought I would share a couple of pics taken after my first dive off the kayak, it went quite well. A couple of things to improve, my flag kept falling over and I need a better ways to store my sunglasses. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3832/9021244137_8b0e757360_z.jpg 20130601_103014 by bre...
