Re: Hairies Rudder Build

Well Mick a cracking job on the rudder. Did the design come from Matt? 8) I know its been a long time since my last post, and i know its a sin but have had interests else where. Rebuilding my 1957 British Seagull out board took a long time but well worth it. :P

Re: Laker for a first timer

Bruce in one of your comments you mentioned that your back was playing up due to working on a concrete floor, looking at most of the posts and from experience myself have found that is probably not the floor it’s the position of your build. If you are constantly bent over its too low set your work b...

Re: Stripped Freedom 15

Darrells looking great so far but I must advise you (tutor mode). That you are leaving yourself open to nails ricocheting around the workshop with this technique. Try firing through Styrofoam or use a tubular sleeve to retain any stray nails experiment before you loose an eye or worse! I see too man...

Re: Hairie's Okwata 15 X 26 LC

Wow great colour scheme, nothing like nature to supply some fantastic materials. This question arose from looking at Mick’s photo of his fine craft. The plastic spoons just didn’t fit the picture may be we could start a new section with the best dressed canoe / Kayak. Chucks on a winner with his pad...

Re: The "Onkalaker" Laker 13

Well done Bob cracking build, Its now time to take stock, I find w**k allows me time to relax and recuperate before the build at the weekend. Careful not to rush the process, mistakes by what you have commented on can be frustrating. Trying to speed up the build process can some times cause more pro...

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!Somethings growing........

I m sorry chaps but I think I have diagnosed the problem; just looking at the photos it’s obvious to me, and maybe others of my learned colleagues. Your workshop is just too dammed tidy. Throw the ply on the floor and save that drinking table! Oh sorry Matt (HID) said I can’t go to the workshop, unl...

Re: North Wind

Great news I will try to drag myself out of bed tomorrow and venture down to the shop. The temperature is now above freezing and the door was frozen shut.
Naff excuse I know!
