Can you pull this one out of two sheets or will it take three?

Re: How bout this?
Looks perfect. I'm definitely on board to pick up the plans. It'll be second on my build list, though. I'm in mid move right now, so I'm not getting any building done until the house sells.

Did you find any/many voids in that UltraPly? It's supposedly spec'd with no voids and exterior glue. I'm thinking I'm going to build my next small boat out of it.

Waaayyyyyyy Out There
OK. This is the "wish list". How about a low power boat with a micro cabin? I'd most like a boat that would sleep very cozily two, but I might be willing to build one that would only sleep one. I know you like to build boats that can be powered with 3hp or less, so it would have to be fair...

Re: Cargo canoe
Took a look at that Rob White boat. I like it, but it seems a waste to build it at 16 feet. 18 - 20 would be more desirable to me.
Proportions are very prettty. It's a very pleasing boat to look at.

Re: How bout this?
If I were to build one: 1) 275# or so (me plus lunch and light gear) 2) 12-14 feet 3) Either way. Simple shallow standard vee would be fine. I wouldn't even squawk over a flat bottomed version since negligible chop would be the order of the day whatever the bottom shape. I suppose I'd be most likely...

A RiverHawk maybe?
Those are manufactured either in Georgia or Florida. Looks a lot like a Gheenoe, but a little different.

Re: How bout this?
You're the designer, not me, but wouldn't it be better for the bottom of the boat to leave the water at the transom to make paddling easier? I know that's usually the M.O. for a boat that is to be paddled.

Re: How bout this?
I like the inverted vee idea - kind of like a Texas Sled sort of thing. Honestly, though, the more I think about it, the more I think it would (for me) overlap too much with the Paddling Pram design in functionality, which is definitely next for me. I'd still buy the plans though. It might hit furth...

Re: How bout this?
The vee is probably a good idea, although a long skeg/runner would be OK too I suppose. I would think if the vee was made sharp enough to help with tracking, it would really increase the overall draft on the centerline - super shallow draft being one of the things that would attract many fishing peo...
