I'm still alive
Just wanted to drop by and say hi. Construction work is hectic here. I hope to get back to building before too long, I am missing it. Working 70-80 hours a week does not leave much time for anything else. Have'nt even been fishing.

As some of you know Ron and I enjoy chasing what we call Trophy Alligator Gar (100+ pounds).Ron and I hit a different part of the Brazos via private access yesterday. We got on the river about 5:00 and proceeded downstream a couple of miles until we found a good looking spot. After unloading some ge...

Quick update. After sanding half the fiberglass off of the hull and replacing it during the build I thought I had the problem fixed. The River is as low as I have ever seen it (as a matter of fact I peeled a piece of fiberglass off of the bottom of my boat going down Friday. I...

New Saw Blade
I bought a Matsushita Blade from Duck Works. I think I am really going to like the 1/16 kerf, will result in less waste. This thing is razor sharp, I need to get started on my Wife's new boat so I can use it.

Re: SS@G Northwind
Coming back up the "Falls" is very difficult, but I paddled the Northwind farther at low water with a heavier load than I have ever paddled another boat.
She likes to go straight and will carry anything I want to take (and looks good doing it), what more could I want in a boat.
