U could set ur saw blade right against the fence on ur saw to clean up ur wood before cutting strips

I'd just glass the joints,when glassed on both sides they will be fine. The build frames that you talking about are they the three build panels used to stitch your hull panels to? Yeah,all though I prefer welding that would work out great if your the kind that keeps an eye on your equipment for things like lose bolts once in awhile

You know if Heritage had made their Featherlite 14 in a 30"-32" wide kayak I might have never built any kayak at all. But I'm very glad they didn't because I would have never found out how much pleasure building a kayak can be :lol: Their Featherlite 14 has a 25" beam and weights 59lb...
