Re: Wadefish 15-32 Question-a-palooza

Hi Brian Sorry for the late reply but my account was out of date. I have built 2 Wadefish with Hobie drives in them as per this post http://www.jemwatercraft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3190&hilit=Wadefish The drawings that David did & I used worked well & after 7 years I haven't h...

Re: Big Thicket Sabalo

Looking forward to the build. If you need any info on fitting the Mirage Drive ask away.

I'm travelling around the Main land of Australia at the moment but usually have internet some time most days so if I don't answer straight way that's why.

Re: Strip-S&G SOT hybrid, Bluefin, Wadefish or Sabalo

There are a couple of builds on here where people have strip planked the flat panels & then stitched them together to make a stripped stitch & glue yak. Have a looka round on the builders log you should find them.

Re: Can you stand up?

Hi Tarzan

I have 2 Wadefish 15 2s with a mirage drive in each of them & I can stand up & pole mine along in water too shallow to use the mirage drive. I don't know if they are stable enough at 27" wide to fly fish from but the 32" version might be.

Re: Drive Well Project

Yes Dale I only used the drive well as the front scupper. I did put a little up turn in my seat box floor so the front of the well ran back to the front of the drive well. There would be some pics & explanation in my Tassie Wadefish build. http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee312/Polyboatowner/k...

Re: Lake Waruma and Sasquatch

How old are you before you are classed as a grey nomad Mick :D :D :D :D

Just google Ozpig if you want one of the ovens or if you are handy with a welder they are made out of old 9kg gas bottles. . . . . Just make sure it's empty & vented properly before you cut into it.

Re: Sabalo 15 or Wadefish 2?

I can sit sideways on my Wadefish without any problems & can even turn around in the boat.. I also have stood up & poled the boat with the paddle in extremely shallow water so I could see the shallows & the fish in the water. I mainly fish in salt water in the local estuary & haven't...
