Many thanks guys, yes she's a looker but more importantly she's getting used as planned. Spent the 1st week this month trout fishing with good company on the White river in Arkansas, The new owner had to fend off lot's of questions/compliments, so its good. Hopefully many more such fun trips with go...

Kent I do pretty much the same with my boats and 6oz cloth has worked well for me, I also like to epoxy/graphite coat the bottom of my boats,I feel this helps and after a river trip it's easy to see if a touch up is required or not. if it is it only takes minutes and a small amount of epoxy/graphite...

Almost done, overall sanding after fill coats then 1st coat of varnish, 4 more to follow at 24 hour intervals. Need to make seat and carry handles, install watertight deck plates, and float test. Then either my buddy will come get it, or I'll carry it up when I go to the Sail Oklahoma event 1st week...

Wat to go. strip built is much lighter without a doubt. Made this 11' for my daughter (she has back problem) she can lift with one hand put in truck and off to the water. Boat weight 20 lb.
