Dang, 7 years ago and 20 + boats I've built... I wish I would have kept this one... Need to build another tandem....

With the weigt of the boat and a 150lb. paddler how much freeboard is there to be catching the wind.....Be nice to have a waterline refference on the plans .....

I was thinking something small for minnows...and to keep the water fresh just use a dipper! Instead of dragging a minnow bucket along side the boat...

Any one put a live well in one of those sit-on-tops?

On this 16' boat I edge glued and then sanding both sides on my 38'' drum sander... I was fearful at first but handling the pieces. I wouldn't build anything under 15 foot anymore...heck by the time a creek gets under 20' wide it's about at it's end any way....And the bluefin makes more use of the total width of the boat inside the cockpit rather than having dead space between the hull-side and the inner side wall of the other d...
