Matt,

I know you're already working on the longer Laker, or will be soon and I can't wait to get the drawing for that. But what about a Pirouge T or T-V with enough depth to accomodate some caned seating for 2 - 3 people. We'd be talking about between 5-600 lbs people weight, without a lot of gear except some light-weight fishing tackle. Don't know if it'd be workable, you know more about that kind of thing than I do; but looking at the pics of Jimmy W's build, I think it would be a good next build for me. Whaddaya think?

Adding the depth would be easy enough but I think you'd end up with a tippy boat if you didn't add beam to that.

I agree with Matt, but I think that you would also want to add length especially for three people. I paddled mine for the first time today and it is a great solo boat.

Yeah, I can see that. I played around with some doodles trying to see a basic what it'd look like and Jimmy's right about the length, that for sure.

I've got a lay-off coming up in a few weeks, maybe sooner. I'm gonna need a build project to occupy me, maybe two? Hint, hint...
