Darrel and I took a little trip to a local lake. When you think you have fish figured out they have a way of humbling you. We didnt get skunked but we sure got close!
A day on the water is always good and we enjoyed it,I did learn a new skill. Tried throwing the 5 ft cast net out of the T-V ,wasn't a problem at all. I ask Darrel to watch and he said there was very little rocking of the yak,that will be handy on the river this summer.
Not a lot of catching but a good day.

As always it is nice to paddle/fish with Ron. We did find an area to do some serious bowfishing though.
