I took part in a local fishing comp with the 'Kayak Fisher SA' forum group in Adelaide, South Australia. It was the first one I have entered since building my new Sabalo. I didn't bring my camera (!!) so unfortunately I don't have any pics, but just to report that 'Go Anywhere' got her fair share of attention from the participants. I have two guys now seriously looking at building a yak, so you might increase your Aussie customer base yet again Matt!

Unfortunately I didn't do too well in the fishing comp but in the 'show and tell' side of things I came out a clear winner I think 8)

I think your boat deserves all the attention. It's hardly surprising when something hand built turns up.

The day I took mine down to check whether it floated several canal boat owners commented on it. I don't suppose they see too many wooden hand built canoes so it offers a way into a conversation.
