question about drawing

Post by Guest »

The 14' Garvey flex plans drawing # 10003-1 shows a dotted line with a measurement indicated of 3/4. What does the dotted line represent?

Thanks

The dotted line shows the theoretic position of the transom. You can use the line when adjusting the bottom and side panels to the frames and transom. The use of the line is also described in the Assembly manual of the Boatbuilding Master Course.
