OK,

Thanks again Morton.

I haven't had time to digest the pans yet but will be studying them today.
Was too tired to even look at them closely when I ordered them.

For whom-ever is reading this, I recieved the plans allmost instantly.

They are clear and concise and most importantly, easy to follow. I am a very happy camper!

Will be a little while before I start the build. I have never built a boat like this before and there are two or three others I need to build first.

This will give me time to properly study these plans and to make what-ever preperations i my need to make.

will start a build thread when i actually make the start.

Thanks again Morton.

Just like Harry Mics I found my replies in the junk box...all 3 of them...did down load that sail boats free plans........Totally useless ...should not have bothered ,absolutely no dimentions are given!! just a number on the parts that make no sense whatsoever to me ,would not be a happy camper if I paid for them what is good about boat plans without dimentions...free or not!!! :?:

G'day Mike,

I am sorry you have been having so much trouble with your plans and i am sure Morton will be happy to fix whatever problems you may be having.

Please keep in mind that this forum, and Matt's are created, designed and owned by Matt, and Morton, with intention of builders who are building their lovely boats to share their experiences and knowledge and perhaps, brag a little about their builds.

If you take the time to read some of the threads, you will see that this is not the type of place where one goes to pick a fight. It is a friendly little community of builders and designers sharing experiences, tips, ideas and knowledge. Both Morton and Matt have been inspirational to me and a lot of other builders and have only been too happy to help out with advice when-ever needed.

I would very respectfully suggest this this sort of antagonism is neither warranted nor needed here. A simple polite question about the measurements would have sufficed.

My first thought was not to be as polite as you Mick, but you are right

There are three sea scouts under construction and all of them are being built using the free plans with dimensions.

So to make it clear to everyone there are dimensions for every part you need to build this boat. Please see the sample below.

The Sea scout is not a small and simple boat, so the documentation and plans for the Sea scout can look overwhelming at the first sight. However if you are having troubles finding what you are looking for please let me know and I will be glad to help.

You can download as many as you want. So the $39.95 are NOT just for the plans for one single design.

Does this deal still apply? I can't find it on the website anywhere, but I'd be very interested in that there are several designs I want but I think the 15 foot dinghy will be first.

G'day JLodge and welcome aboard mate.

I don't know if the offer is still current so I can't help you there, sorry.

Morton will be along shortly to advise.

That 15 foot dingy is a beauty, isn't she? :D
