Hi,

I am interested in building my own sit on top kayak, and i saw your
cape fear model.

I have some conserns with space, and i think that the open top is the
way for me to go. I am 6'8" 280lbs, and have very long legs. Do you think that would be an issue
with the cape fear plans?

The cockpit is 58" long. So maybe sit against the wall and measured out to the end of your feet. That should give you an idea if it has enough room.

You probably want your knees a little bent but allow some room for a seat. I'm going to install some footbraces in mine.
