I don't know if anyone have ever though about doing this or if it would be practical or not. But what about a little set of pontoons maybe 6 feet long with seat between them set up for fishing. I know they make this type of thing out of rubber tube type things. Couldn't the same thing be done with plywood and cost a hell of a lot less than those hundereds of dollar rubber things. Plus you could customize the hell out of it with epoxy and wood. Add a Kayak paddle that breaks down and an anchor and you got yourself a quick and dirty presonal fishing boat. Just like the ones on this website but out of wood.

Could be done. Basically, you make 2 pirogues and link them up with a some aluminum tubing or something.
