Eno

Post by banoe »

Hi Matt,
I am looking for a light weight solo canoe. Has any one built an Eno? Could I build one out of 4mm plywood and what would it save in weight? Or could I use 3mm for sides and 4mm for bottom with cloth inside and out?

I've sold several copies but no one has sent pictures.

You could built in the manner you suggested but may need some selected reenforcement in the seating area.

You could probably knock the weight down to around 35 pounds.

Zeb,
Can't wait to see the pictures

Matt,
Like Old Sparkey did in his Swamp Girl floor? Do you think I could get it under 35lb?
