UK Merrimac build

Post by petda84 »

Hi All, I have been building the Merrimac for some time now and am at the stage where photo's are available and they look just like the plans!! something must have gone right.
I am ready to do some filletting but am worried about the front and rear end.
I have pulled the cable ties as tight as I can with spacers in between but I am not sure whether the filletts will hold the bits together once I cut the cable ties.
Am I worrying uneccessary??
Also how do I send pictures to the forum??

Believe me ... if you've mixed the epoxy properly and have filled the gaps per the plans, the fillets will hold.

As for pictures: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3105

Thanks for info.
I opened up a photobucket account, downloaded pictures into an album, followed your instructions to generate an email but error message 'It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image' came up.
Is this because I made an album instead of downloading individual pictures or have I done something else wrong??

Hi Matt
I've tried sending pics to your instructions but no luck.
I have made the pics into an album - is this why?
Should I send individual pics.
Hope to hear from you soon.

the pictures may be too big. 800 pixels x 800 pixels is the max viewable in this forum
