Interesting Kayak Design

Interesting concepts but I wonder how it would handle trying to punch through some waves.

I would bet it would do fine in the waves since they are a Pacific NW company and there are a lot of surf launches done up here. Unless, of course, they are not targeting sales to PacNW kayak fisherman. I would love to try one out. But, i would love to try out just about every boat i stumble across :wink: . It looks like it would have good potential for fly fishing due to its stability.

looks to me that a rudder would be a desirable addition. Must be a bear to turn

I had a twin hull small bass boat. Paddling straight and fighting the wind are a bear.

I looked at that and wondered the same thing. But it looks like there's no front portion to part the waves. More like a power boat shape.

the Wye is headed to matagorda tomorrow at 0 dark 30 for 2 days of testing with the Hero's on the water folks. And the bow most definitely makes a difference when the wind kicks up,cuts it nicely. :D
