I'm currently building a Laker from the free plans and have a couple of questions.
Is the joint between the deck and the sides fiberglassed over or just glued?( I'm using polyester resin).
I've built a flat platform between the chines for the seat to go on. Is this the way to go?
What do other builders use for footrests?
Thanks in advance for any advice. I'll post pictures when finished.

Re: Laker build questions
joint between the deck and the sides: need to be fiberglassed
flat platform between the chines for the seat: That should work. There are seat idea in the plans.
Footrests: Other builders will have to chime in. I install the plastic ones from Duck Works.
