I had a Swiss customer who lives in Thailand call and asked about rubber tree plywood being acceptable to build with.
I tried doing some homework on it but couldn't find much.
Any building in that area have experience with this species? It looks like it might be a bit heavy but ok so long as it has WBP glue holding it together. Always ask what species the inner plies are made of.

Re: Rubber Tree Plywood
Hi,
I made my homework.
I boiled two pieces of 5mm thick rubber waterproof plywood 5 ply including veneer for more than 2 hours.
The result after two hours is that the ply still bonds together.
But it is possible to force/slide and turn a knife in between the sheets and get it loose.
It dries back strong
Old hands, Please give us your view on that.
