Goany, for what its worth, I converted my Toto 13' into a Trimaram. in the stand alone configeration I can get 5.2 mph (I'm not that good a paddler) with the sail rig Iv'e seen 6.3 in 15+winds, so the difference is not outstanding, but the sence of moving the boat using natures attributes is priceless.
