strong back

I have bought plans for the Freedom 11 kayak. In your instructions, you say that a strong back is optional, and I would like to use a strong back. Unfortunately, I cannot find any instructions regarding the placement of the frames on the strong back. Can you help me, please ?

there is a good book by Ted Moores that you can get from Matt.I read that the forms starting from the widest one are 12" apart .Hope this helps.I'm in the middle of my freedom 15 . Good luck

You would place some "extenders" of the same length on each frame. Then secure the extenders to the strongback.

This option is for having the frames secured in a constant position while working. Not a requirement.
