I have been having trouble posting pictures. It has been hit or miss with the same procedure.

Here is how I have been doing it.

1. Upload. Photos to photobucket to this album. http://s783.photobucket.com/albums/yy11 ... 20pirogue/

2. Resize the photo to 400 wide

3. Copy the image and post in the forum reply

4. Click preview in the post. I get a red message saying my picture needs to be 500 wide

What am I doing wrong?

click on the pick so it is the only pic on the screen. At the bottom right corner there is a large box that says LINKS. Left click the box to the right of IMG code. That copies it. Now just right click and paste to insert it in your post. They changed photobucket not to long ago.

If you go to your photobucket album and hold your curser over the image you want to post, you will see a tab open up. Unter the share a copy thingy you will see 4 options. If you copy and paste the bottom option (IMG code) onto here like this,



Your piccie should come up on the forum.

Basically that is what I did. Some days it works and some days it says my picture is too large even though it is not.

Ok so now it works. I did nothing different than when I had trouble. It does seem that when I have trouble iti is the first few minutes right after I resize the picture in photobucket.
