For my JEM Trapper canoe I'm looking at a scuppered inner gunwale.
Instead of cutting out blockks or discs and glueing them by the sheer inside the hull and then gueing a long strip over the blocks, wondering about first setting 2 long strips side by side and drilling vertical holes to end up with half-circle vertical holes in each strip and then just glueing those on for the inner gunnels.
Any comments or pros/cons would be appreciated Thanks
Les

Re: scuppering inner gunwales
That would work and would bend easier.
The scuppered gunwale look actually comes from mounting gunwales over ribs of canvas canoes.
