do you think it would be o.k.to just clear yatch varnish the gunwhales a couple of times instead of the resin,I was trying to keep them as light in colour as possible.

I took the boat up home today,Its the first time my six year old daughter has seen her in the flesh,Mate You should of seen Her face.
Shes been sanding away at thwarts with that big grin on Her face,nearly as big as mine!!!!!!
This just gets better and better :D :D :D

Hi All

slow progress latley,have been flat out with that four letter word.
just the ribs to glue in and a bit of sanding :shock: :wink:
hoping to get in the water soon and finish off with a couple of coats of varnish
got a problem though,sure i wanted to build a merrimac next but I cant stop looking at that little Eno,looks ideal for solo camping trips,anyone built one?

would the Eno be a good boat for a child to learn to paddle in? I was hoping to maybe use it as a dual purpose craft.

It's a nice little boat.

I got some very fuzzy pictures from one builder of it. Not much on the way of feedback about it. The builder mentioned his mom and dad wanted a more rounded bottom for it. But I'm not sure if they actually paddled or were just speculating.
