Here we go again Started cutting out the  bottom panels and sides They are cut sanded and the bottom panels glued seemed like it was slow today for some reason.ImageImageMore tomorrowRon

And it IS magic, isn't it. A stack of flat, flexible plywood begins to assume the graceful shape of an elegant watercraft. Magic indeed!

Besides playing with my granddaughter's I did get a little work done

cut out my stations

wired bottom together

stitched the sides and stations in

turned it over and started to stitch the outsides then got to thinking why can't I do the outside like I do a perow, think Ill try that instead of stitching the outside and bottom together.

for today, moma hollering supper is ready fried pork chops cream gravy
fresh okra and a big ole glass of sweet tea

Ron,

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "like I do a perow." What is it that you are doing differently from the stitch & glue method? Are you getting a panel-to-panel contact and edge-gluing them together and then using fg tape?

Using the poly glue and a filet inside works pretty good

Ah, now I remember! :D

You discussed the fact that you use the poly stuff instead of epoxy in a thread here, or on Old Sparkey's a while back.

Got the bottom finished stitching and gluing . Started putting on the shear strips

got the fillets done on the inside

started installing bulk heads and filleting them

J h came by today brought me some 1/8 laun
so decks will be made of that

Little laker starting to shape up
Got the decks fit out fillet and glassed

wet out with first coat
