Thanks.

She'll be prettier when she is on the water and the fish are biting.

Austin,

Did you do anything special to get that pretty red color? Or, is that just blood?

Actually redder in the picture. I did add a little red tint. It is milder and better in real life.
I saw some in the Woodcraft shop that had a nice deep look to it and thought I would give it a try.

on another note. I think my last sand before varnishing will be tomorrow. Then I will let it set for a few days while I wait for the epoxy to cure. Gives me this weekend to figure out how I want to rig her for fishing. I have a soft seat, paddle, PFD, lines for an anchor trolley (still thinking how I want to set that up, breasthook handles need to be considered along with some storage for my stuff. One thing I might add are some foot braces.

Got her done and went on a shake down cruise.

Very happy with how she glides on the water and stability.

Can't wait to take her fishing on our rivers.

Boat looks very nice. And, Brad Pitt looks good in it too. (How much did you have to pay to get a movie star to model your boat?)

One good looking boat and just think ... you made it. Now it will be interesting to see how many fish you can catch when out fishing.
I will bet if you never catch anything you will still have a ball just by being out and about in your boat. :D
