You should be proud. I really like the black graphite extending up the stem and stern "posts". Nice masking tape work.
I didn't see in your post... what was the paint you used for the light drab green?

It is a Sherwin-Williams latex paint. The color Believe it or not is " Sawdust"
As far as the masking job I cheated. I made a small cross out of 1x2 and drilled a hole the size of a pencil how far down I wanted the graphite, ran that around the boat and then taped the pencil line. Nice and straight
Of course the boat was upside down at that time

I picked my endpoints, then snapped a chalkline, and taped to it. Whatever gets the job done.
