I think it depends on which hardener you use. The fast will have the strongest odor while the slow will have the least. But they may have improved their formulation.

Well, everything but wood flour on order from uscomposites.com. Maybe I'll get it for the weekend. Image
Fortunately there are a few marine dealers near work, one of which has wood flour, that I will visit this week to pick up.

I'm hoping to have this boat completed before my family's first camping trip during Easter. The only downside I'm expecting is that I ordered the resin kit with the slow hardener. We usually have mild winters here in Louisiana (the next 10 days the highs will be in the upper 70f but lows in the 50's.) Obviously I won't be rushing the cure time given the overnight lows but will this also cause any adhesion or durability problems with the resin since it will be slower due to the cooler temps?

No issues like that. It'll just stay sticky a little longer.Maybe an extra 12 hours at most.

Buster Brown paid me a visit today. Weather is going to warm up around Wednesday so I can start my first steps in glassing.

Questions though - when I remeasured my pieces and compared them to the reference charts, i'm an 1/8th inch longer on all 3 panels. Mainly because I failed to account for the extra length in the 96" Plywood. Will being an 1/8th inch out make that much of a difference?

Did a scarf joint. Not to bad but will still cover it with thin piece of wood to hide it.

Fiberglass tape and small coat of resin is down. going to come back with the glass cloth and cover the entire bottom and crap around the sides as much as possible. should get about 1 or 2 inches overlap on the tape.

Looking really good, won't be long until you got it in the water.
