'tis not a boat it is a work of art.

Now some of the bloke on here build technically good high standard boats but this has completely blown me away.

The paddles ain't even the same shape, are they carved from different trees (one tree per paddle :D )?

however I did wonder whether much of the inspiration came from that beverage that's sitting on the deck showing the hatch coming?...

Where did you get your inspiration?

I am getting ready to order the DK plans but I don't see them for an 18'
footer.
Do you know if they are still available or not?

my e mail address is greatimes@comcast.net I would like to go over a few things with you about this build. This is going to be a father and son project. Our last on was a one man 8' airboat that was very east to build. We are looking at this model in hopes that it will work for fishing, sailing and just putzing around the rivers and lakes here in Michigan. Also like to know how much weight this model will carry as there are three of us for a total weight of about 650 lbs.
