New Trailer for New Boat

For those who have not seen it, here is what I started with.

I used it for a couple of months like this, but decided it was too top heavy.

I got outside last night and did alittle modifying. I think this will work alot better. I also built some storage boxs for paddle, PFD's and such. I still need to cut one more lid and install some area lighting and it will be finished.

Finished the trailer this afternoon. Added a couple of lights on the crossbar for those days when things run late. I was really suprised how much light they give off. Now i am going to try and clean up the Pirogue alittle for the get together. Don't know if I'll have timwe to finish it before Fri. It has quite afew battle scars from some hard hits on rocks (Thanks for the help Ron).

The battery will run the two lights about 20 hours.

She's a real ripper Darrell!

(Not sure what that would mean in the US but here it is an enthusiastic expression of approval 8) .

I especially like the the idea of the lights - very practical.

That's not a bad looking rig you got there. What's the width of the frame?

Reminds me alot of my Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer.

Great vision and follow-through. Good bracing decisions, and she looks square and strong.

Congrats.
