Good point...I'm sitting on the hull in the pix. I had planned to install a 'stadium seat' or the like, and I think that would be still fairly stable. Next trip, probably this coming week, I'll risk standing up and see what happens :lol:
I'm ok with the seating position, think I'll just get a pad to sit on.

Note that I modified the cockpit opening considerably from the plans in consideration of how I'll actually be using the boat...as a poke boat, on the small lakes in Cen. Florida mostly. Plenty of space to turn sideways, even backwards, while I watch wildlife, etc.

I'm confident the seat could be raised and the hull will still feel stable. Standing depends more on your sense of balance.
