You know if Heritage had made their Featherlite 14 in a 30"-32" wide kayak I might have never built any kayak at all. But I'm very glad they didn't because I would have never found out how much pleasure building a kayak can be :lol: Their Featherlite 14 has a 25" beam and weights 59lbs. I think I can come real close to that build weight and for a Big Guy I'll be able carry all the camp gear I need to get on the Brazos River and do the paddling really want to do :wink:
