I am not finished with the Northwind yet, I decided to paddle her and rig her as I went.
After 50 miles of paddling this boat is still better than a ten, fits me perfectly. The stability is awesome ,my 11 inch seat height is just right , she paddles so easy it is just a pleasure to cruise. and a cruise speed you can hold all day at a comfortable stroke. The 17 2 length is great more room than I need to camp and trip.
They are more trouble to build but the benefits are sure there.
I love this boat.
