wood flour is nothing more than fine, sifted saw dust that does not contain any contaminents like paint or oil residue.

You can make your own. Local cabinet shops usually are happy to give it away from their dust collectors. I still have some of the 5-gallon pale a shop gave me years ago.

I just went to the restaurant supply store and bought a flour sifter with the egg beater style agitator. Then I got a paint strainer for five gallon buckets from Home Depot. Now I can make wood flour to match the wood I am using by taking the saw dust from my table saw. The flour sifter dust is good for filleting and that dust can be further refined by shaking it through the paint strainer. The result is real fine flour that is good for filling small cracks in stripped work and making colored glue. The best thing to me is being able to accurately match the colors of the wood I am using.
