the seat

Post by hoz »

My friend worked with Verlen a couple of years building Sea Winds. He helped Verlen build 2 of his own boats. He told me when Verlen decided to make the tractor seat he set up a clay mold in the shop. Everyone who came in shop had to sit in the mold. Supposedly that is why the tractor seat is so comfortable. He called it the 10,000 ass seat!

There's those semi-circular, aerodynamical lightning rods again.

Test paddle without the deck. I'll let Hoz post his thoughts on how she did.

But I'll say this. I'm cutting this loose soon just a canoe. The decked sailing option later.

Matt,

May I suggest that you offer many "option" packages? Short/ long fore/aft decks. Sailing, lee boards, dagger board, keel. Eight/ ten/ twelve panel hull. 17' 16' 15' LOA.

You have one helluva nice boat there. Beats ANYTHING Chesapeake Lightcraft ever thought of or tried.

Working on it!

Cutting loose the canoe-only option soon. Sailing packages after.
