3mm plywood on a Muskoka?
Hi guys! I'm thinking of building our second Muskoka and I was wondering if I might use 3mm plywood for upper 2 panels. The plywood is really nice plywood: 3 ply no voids guaranteed. Is this ok?

Don't skimp on the gunwales and use fiberglass inside and out. Might need to reinforce in some spots for hanging the seats. Just depends on the strength of the wood.

Hmmm ... I thought I replied already to your post Matt.
Thanks again Matt. I'll definitely glass both sides, and use the best quality wood I can find for the gunwales.
The BOM says 4mm for the two upper panels, and 6mm for the lower two. I can get 3mm and 5mm but this is really good plywood, much better than the 5mm I used for the first one I built. I'll use 6 oz. cloth to glass the entire boat, 4 oz. is not available here. Is this ok?
By the way, your design gets lots of praises despite my below par finish.

you should be ok. Bottom panel might need extra bracing to prevent flexing.

Thanks Matt. This morning I noticed I did not have the "Log me in automatically" option set. I guess yesterday when I came back the system had logged me out already. The option is set now.
