we seem to be at the same step in our builds. I have all pieces for 1 boat cut out and sanded.
I must say I didn't enjoy sanding the panels.
By the pics you are using a much higher grade of plywood that I am

Not sure if its higher grade or not but I am real happy with the workability of it and it is a water resistant ply from Home Depot. 1/4" and there is no knots in any of the 3 sheets I bought. It was $10.32 a sheet. The one side is pre-sanded and it has almost a reddish coloring to it.

Dickie,

You may already be aware of this from other build logs here but be really careful with the ply when sanding your fillets. The material you are using is quite thick and will be very strong but the outer plies are quite thin and if you sand through them you will have patches of the under ply showing through. I guess this applies to all sanding but I found that it is especially easy to go through the top ply at the edge of the fillets. The timber colour is quite nice so it should be a real head turner when finished.

Your deck panels look to have come up very well 8) .

Are you planning to glass the hull or just tape the seams?
Cheers, Bob

Onka, I am planning on glassing the hull with a real pretty natural varnish. Thank you for the words of encouragement and I will be super carefule of the sanding, Thank you
