I can tell you it is really nice.
Had a chance to try it when paddling with Ron and one of his little storms came along and destroyed my tent. No place to rest after the tent became a pancake but I found his chair and parked there for a while down as low as I could get by the water while the world on the higher ground was being turned upside down.
Yep , it is a good seat to enjoy in a storm or any other time.

Found out a little later he was busy bailing out his tent , so I had the chair all to myself.
