Well, it got a trip to the salt yesterday, and handled that fine. I managed to get a ~6 foot blacktip on a large shad, and fought it to yakside. The boat handled that well too, going out through the surf, and coming in as well. Granted, conditions were pretty nice, with only small breakers.

I am an avid yak fisher. I sure would love to make a trip down to your fine salty fishing grounds....one of these days

Dang, Dude, what an awsome, professional job you did on the yak. How about a detailed report on how it handles? With pics, of course. :wink:

I USUALLY THINK ITS A SHAME TO PAINT THESE LOVELY WOODEN BOATS BUT THAT IS A MASTERPIECE.
YOUR ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT NOONE WILL BELIEVE YOU BUILT IT.
LOOKS FRESH OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR.
