Best all around boat

What length width and deck configuration would be the best boat for all your use.
I have been thinking ,I know a redneck and thought waves is a hard pill to swallow, The way I use a boat Lakes Rivers Tripping, I think a 17 ft T-V with two 5 ft decks and a 7 ft open cockpit may be the ultimate for me.

I got the plans for the TV Pirogue, but at the moment that is on the back burner. I reckon that a 17 footer would be great to take the grandkids fishing in some of the backwaters around here. For my money, however, the Okwata is just the boat for me.
I paddle many days a week around the rivers and estuaries hereabouts which also means crossing bays and lakes. The Occi handles it all just great. But a strip plank Occi would be awesome. If you ever list one Matt, I'll be the first to buy.

This would be a solo boat. the more I paddle the more I enjoy the longer boats.
