My first Laker is finished
Just finished my first build and just in time for my wife for Christmas. Now waiting for the plans fo my next build.I made the cover to protect the inside from the weather when it's not being usedThe paddle ends were ones I got from Grey Owel paddle that were 2nds and tossed out.I used my 1/2" wide belt sander to gouge it out then finished with the orbital sander ,hope it works.

Thanks Roger but unlike you I'll have to wait for sping to try it.It's sure been a pleasure getting to know some of you builders and I especially enjoyed learning from the postingsin the different forums.Going to try a strip build next time ,but for now I'm going to relax and enjoy Christmas hope you do the same.rodot wrote:Looks great mate.
