I wonder what you would think the possibility or any problems I would have if I dropped a sliding rail and oar pockets for a set of oars in the Northwind?

You'd have to add some outriggers to get the oar pivot point to be wide enough to row effectively. But It should row efficiently.

The units have outriggers .
Since I tore my shoulder I have been looking at then for some paddling till I get alright again.
