Coconut Shell Flour Fillet

I am considering the use of Hydrotek Meranti BS 1088 marine plywood, as it is said to be much stronger, but only 20% heavier than Okoume. This is a trade off I could live with.
As a relative of Mahogany, the Meranti wood is supposed to be noticeably darker than the Okoume.

Due to its natural protective properties, the shell of a coconut protects the seed from salt water, abrasion, and the effects of UV light rays over thousands of miles of ocean travel.

I was wondering if anyone had tried using coconut shell flour in an epoxy fillet mixture, either as the sole additive for increased physical strength, or as a color matching additive to a wood flour fillet mix? I am also curious to see if the addition of coconut shell flour would offer some better degree of UV ray protection to the fillet joints?

I don't know the consistency of the flour but it will have no impact on UV properties: all epoxy must be covered with paint or marine varnish.
