I'm working on this concept for the Wadefish 2.0. Individual hand laid tubes using PVC as the mold.
PVC itself is too heavy. Center rod pod.
If the tubes need some curvature, I can do that as well.
As I get further along I'll start working on my concept with more priority.

Re: Wadefish Rod-Pod Concept
There are several places that sell premade fiberglass tubes. If you're going to give that a go, be sure to get ones made with epoxy, not polyester or vinylester.

Yea, the model rocket hobby is one of them.
The problem I'll run into I already know is the tubes can't be straight. They'll have to have some curvature , especially if you are shooting for a 7' rod capability. Plus they need to be curved to aid in the use of them.
I've had the gears turning, I just haven't pounced on it yet.
Still looking at flush mounting a HDS 5 depthfinder in the same pod.
Like the forward hatch. Been rolling that one around as well.
I didn't go with a the slanted covered bow. I went with rounded. If I center a hatch, it's round too.
