Okay, I build a 2.5' cardboard model, and am currently working on a full scale cardboard (to then use as templates) and have come up with a problem.
In the plans, there is a Rectangle on the same sheet as the frames and paddle labled "Floor Butt Block" When I built the 2.5' model, I omited this piece and made the floor out of one solid piece (same as the sides) but then the bottom was too short. Am I to assume this is not a "butt block" but more of a center panel fo the floor? Perhaps the problem is my understanding of the terminology. To me, butt block refers to a strip of plywood to be used in a splice, this piece overlaps each side of the joint, and the two halves join each other in the middle of this piece. Is this definition correct? or am I confused? Well, I know I am confused......

Okay, I had hoped that was the case. I havn't assembled the full scale cardboard yet, but made the 2.5' model by blowing the plans up on the copier at work. the page with the bottoms was a hair smaller than the rest, so I tried to "add a little to the ends" and it worked fine for the lower panel C, but the floor was way short.
Thanks!!

Those are not draw to a constant scale. They were drawn up with the intention for easy viewing and best fitting onto a sheet of paper. That may account for the difference in size.
