Everyone certainly is entitled to their opinion. The Progressive website is pretty intense with information and the layout of it is unique. I personally have sifted through it a few times over the years and if it were mine, I'd change the layout. That's just my opinion... which is worth a cup of coffee if you have a dollar in your pocket.

But their product is a great value and their customer service has been excellent. That's what I judge them on.

A commercial website is a marketing tool that is used to reach a targeted group of people. Progressive knows their layout puts off some people but it must attract enough of others because it's what works for them.

If you wish not to purchase JEM products because JEM customers get a discount at Progressive, well that's your choice. I certainly respect your choice but also disagree with it. Human nature... we all have our reasons.

Yep...You spent some money but if you want to spend a lot of it then forget the wood boats and just march down to the store and purchase a plastic boat. You will spend a lot , a whole lot more.

By the way as a member of this web site ..I take great pride in that and the truthfulness of everyone on here , I will bet no one held a gun to your head to join. If you don't trust the folks ( on here ) and there suggestions about products then how , in good faith , are you going to trust any information they furnish you. Which leads me to this ... Why are you on here , to insult everyone or just to cause problems ?

Pogue3one said his opinion regarding a vendor partner of JEM Watercraft.

That's fine. Feedback, positive and negative, helps improve things. Far as I can tell, pogue3one's biggest, and only beef, is with the Progressive website and not their product or service. Although I fail to understand how a website format effects integrity.

I've personally used their products and see no problem with them. They worked well. Prices seem more than fair and I've yet to hear a complaint about how they interact with customers, besides the website.

So before this goes too far, I'm going to step in and say he's entitled to voice his views. And let's just leave it for what it is: a different opinion about a website.

Sorry for the drunken rant this morning. By "this website" I was not refering to JEM Watercraft, but progressive epoxy. I find immense value and spend hours just perusing this one. Progressive's website, well I've stated my opinion.

pogue3one...

Welcome to the world of Homo Sapians ( humans) and we do goof up at times.
Trust me on that if I don't make three mistakes a day then I am not doing anything. I can make a lot more on a good day.
