Is it merely theoretical/hypothetical that epoxy coatings and glues can fail if part or all of a boat surface gets too hot from the sun?
Or is it actually someone's unfortunate experience?
Reason I ask, I'd like to use black filler in epoxy glue for gunnels, decks, and thwarts and concerned about the black substance getting too hot and causing a glue failure.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: heat damage to epoxy coating or glue
Best way to go would be to ask your epoxy manufacturer about how much heat epoxy can take from air temp and direct sunlight.
