Paddling Pram 9-32

Our Paddling Pram is designed for builders who want a short but stable boat that can be paddled and also used with a low HP (up to 3hp) motor.

The ideal environment for this hull is exploring mostly calm waters on short day trips. It open interior is ideal for a solo paddler who wants to take plenty of gear for fishing. This platform will be very stable. Paddlers who have a good sense of balance should be able to sit on the back deck and maintain balance. For those who desire to stand, understand the the ability to stand in a paddling hull relies as much as on the person as it does the hull. Attempt at your own risk!

Cost:

For epoxy and fiberglass, starting price will be about $200 plus shipping in the United States depending on the brand and vendor you choose. This doesn't include items such as varnish, brushes, rollers, mixing sticks, gloves, etc. See our list of trusted suppliers.

Labor:

Please Note: This is a multi-paneled hull and will require significantly more effort to assemble than some of our other designs. If you're a first-time builder, we highly recommend you consider completing a simpler project first. What you learn on the first project will allow you to build a better, lighter second project.

The hull will required about 50-65 hours to complete. These times are rough estimates and will vary according to the skill of the builder. Please note these are "hands on" hours and do not include the time waiting for epoxy to cure.
