Boat Shelf 7
Boat Shelf 7
A simple Stitch-and-Glue project that gives you a unique looking piece of furniture.

This a great project for a first time boat builder. This project will provide an excellent introduction to stitch and glue building and the needed experience to build more complex designs. Standing at 7' (2.1 m) and 42" (1 m) wide, these will give you ample space to store all your boat building materials, toys in a kids room, or decorative piece throughout your home.

Build this attraction piece using our easy-to-follow plans. The finishing options are up to you: Add some decorative trim, paint or stain in any color, add a bow line, the options are only limited to your imagination!

Visit our Customer Service Forum to post any questions you may have and see what other builders are saying. Also check the Tutorial to see pictures and descriptions of our building method.

Your investment in materials is limited. Since this is not a boat and will never see the water, no need to seal all wood surfaces with epoxy.

This project is made from 2 sheets (more like 1 1/2) of 1/4" (5 mm) plywood, 1 sheet of 1/2", and one 1 x 2 so your investment in wood is minimal. You can use any grade or species you desire.

With your purchase, you receive the panel drawings and instructions via e-mail. Printable on 8.5" x 11" paper. The measurements are provided in both U.S. Standard and Metric Units.

To Build these plans, you'll need:
-3 quarts (.75 gallon) of epoxy
-1 quart of woodlfour
-50 yards of 6-ounce tape, 3" wide

Estimated materials (not including plywood) cost: $75. Click here for details. Even less expensive if using polyester resin.
